What this site is and is not

The idea

Most pages that rank casino hotels are really ranking casinos — floor size, game count, loyalty schemes. This one does the opposite. It asks what each property is like to stay in, and treats the gaming floor as one facility in a building that also has rooms, restaurants, a location and a view.

That choice explains some of the order. A resort with a modest floor and an extraordinary setting will sit above a larger one on a dull site, because the setting is what a guest lives with for three days.

What is measured

• The site. Where the building stands, what surrounds it, and whether that is worth arriving for.
• The building. Architecture, age, how well the public spaces work, and how the rooms are placed within it.
• The stay. Food, pools, spas, theatres, transport, and what lies inside a short walk.
• Range. Whether the property serves more than one kind of guest, or only one.

What is not measured

Table counts, machine counts, payout claims, loyalty tiers, promotions. None of it appears here, and none of it moved a property up or down. This is not a gambling guide and makes no comment on gambling as an activity.

How entries are written

Descriptions are built from general, durable, widely documented characteristics: location, structure, what the property contains, how you arrive. We avoid anything that would need a citation to defend — no occupancy figures, no quoted rates, no award claims, no invented guest quotes.

We have not slept in all ten. Where a detail could plausibly have changed since writing, treat it as a starting point and confirm with the hotel.

Independence

No hotel, group or agency pays to appear here, to rise in the order, or to be described a particular way. There are no affiliate links, no tracking parameters and no booking engine. The count of paid entries on the front page reads zero because it is zero.
